On the 22nd Nov, 2024 the project launched of Youth-Friendly Centers at Ayo-Ni, Oshodi and Olusosun, Ikeja Primary Health Care Centres! These newly equipped spaces feature smart TVs, board games, and branded ePharma4FP chairs, tables, and window blinds, creating a comfortable and engaging environment for youths waiting to receive healthcare services.
The ceremonial handover was led by the Permanent Secretary Lagos State Ministry of Health (District 6), Cecilia Abimbola Mabogunje Lagos State Ministry of Health, Director of Medical Services & Disease Control (District 6), Dr. Osinachi Ubani & Medical Officer Health Onigbonbo, Abimbola Folami, marking a significant milestone in optimizing healthcare delivery for young people. In attendance were the ePharma4FP Chief of Party, Dr. Uche Okafor, various community leaders, youth organizations and other well meaning stakeholders.
This presentation highlighted the project’s commitment to creating engaging and supportive environments for young people, showcasing how these centers align with broader efforts to optimize youth-focused healthcare service delivery in Lagos. These centers are more than just spaces, they are a testament to our commitment to improving the healthcare experience for the next generation.
