From 4th to 6th Nov, 2024, our team of field enumerators embarked on the first day of an intensive training, preparing them to gather key data that will shape the future of family planning accessibility. The training consisted of simulations reflecting real-life data collection challenges. These exercises were designed to help enumerators think on their feet, ensuring that they’re prepared for the variety of situations they might encounter in the field.

From handling sensitive questions with empathy to navigating busy marketplaces and even dealing with the occasional language barrier our team practiced it all.  They learned to maintain accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in every scenario, ensuring the data they collect is both reliable and ethically gathered. Every scenario offered insights, not just about collecting data, but about connecting with people. We’re not just gathering statistics; we’re capturing stories, perspectives, and vital information that can drive real change.

This hands-on training will equip them with the knowledge needed to understand community needs, capture accurate insights, and ultimately, help the project shape a more accessible ePharmacy experience for family planning resources.
