On June 11, 2024, the ePharma Lagos team embarked on a significant community outreach activity in Agboyi-Ketu, Lagos State. This event was designed to drive grassroots advocacy and stimulate online demand generation for #FamilyPlanning products and services.
As part of our commitment to improving access to contraceptives for vulnerable groups, our outreach efforts often take us into some of the most remote and underserved areas. In Agboyi-Ketu, the team navigated water bodies and traversed rugged dirt tracks to connect with women who, despite living in challenging environments, deserve equitable access to essential reproductive health products and services.
This community engagement was not just about delivering family planning solutions—it was about building trust, educating residents on the benefits of contraceptive use, and empowering women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health. The outreach included one-on-one counseling sessions, distribution of informational materials, and demonstrations on how to access affordable and reliable family planning options through our online platform.
The experience reaffirmed our belief that no barrier—geographical, social, or economic—should prevent women from having access to quality family planning services. By taking these services directly to the community, we are not only addressing immediate needs but also laying the groundwork for long-term behavior change and sustainable health outcomes.
This event is a testament to ePharma’s mission of bridging gaps in healthcare access, ensuring that every woman, regardless of her location, has the tools and knowledge to make empowered reproductive choices. We remain committed to reaching more underserved communities, and we invite partners, stakeholders, and advocates to join us in this vital mission. Together, we can make family planning more accessible to all.
