On August 8th, 2024, under the leadership of our Regional Manager, the Lagos team proudly concluded a highly impactful community outreach event at the Baale’s Palace in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State. This initiative was a collaborative effort between the IntegratE Project, ePharma4FP, PACS Project teams, and SFH Access, demonstrating the power of partnership in advancing public health goals.

The outreach was designed to provide accessible and affordable #FamilyPlanning and Primary Health Care Services directly to the Oregun community, which now serves as the host community for the newly established SFH Lagos Field Office. This event aimed to not only offer vital health interventions but also to foster stronger connections with the local community as part of our ongoing mission to improve healthcare accessibility.

Key highlights of the outreach include:

• Vital Signs Checks: Offering free blood pressure monitoring and other essential health screenings to community members.
• Consultations by Medical Doctors: Providing expert medical advice and personalized care to individuals seeking health support.
• Family Planning Services: Delivering counseling and a range of contraceptive options to empower individuals and families in making informed reproductive health choices.
• Community Engagement: Educating attendees on the importance of preventive healthcare and introducing digital tools for accessing family planning products and services.

The event directly benefited over 113 community members, many of whom expressed gratitude for the accessible and high-quality healthcare services provided. The turnout and positive response underscored the urgent need for such interventions in underserved communities and reinforced our resolve to expand these efforts.

This outreach is a powerful testament to our collective commitment to revolutionizing access to quality family planning and primary healthcare in Nigeria. By pooling resources, expertise, and passion across multiple projects, we are not only reaching more people but also creating a sustainable, lasting impact in the communities we serve.
