The E-Pharmacy for Family Planning project (Epharma4FP) is a multi-year project implemented with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation through a coalition of four partner organizations: Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Foundation (PSNF), HealthPlus, and consortium lead Society for Family Health (SFH) each with specific yet complementary expertise.
The project aims to improve and expand access to high-quality FP products, information/counseling, and services in Nigeria while also examining how online-offline handoffs might promote FP uptake and continuation; introducing and testing digitally enhanced techniques for FP information, product, and service delivery through hybrid online and offline pharmacy channels in Lagos State. The project is leveraging on health-Plus outlets and online platform in Lagos State, to target women of reproductive age.
With a strong focus on increasing access to contraceptives using digital innovation, places a strong emphasis on providing expanded options of safe and effective contraceptive products through convenient and easy-to-use e-pharmacy platforms.
